We’re Making Headlines with Emerging Energy Storage Technologies
Austin Energy has the goal of reaching 100% carbon-free energy generation by the year 2035. We have been a national leader in driving the adoption of distributed solar PV (photovoltaic) systems by providing incentives for residential and commercial PV.
Austin Energy also has a goal to achieve a total of 375 MW of local solar capacity by the end of 2030, of which 200 MW will be customer-sited.
