Tree Replacement List

Plant the Right Tree for Your Location

Planting the right replacement tree in the right spot is key to enjoying your trees and their benefits. Austin Energy offers a variety of replacement trees.

  • If utility work required a tree to be removed, customers should consult their work plan and contact the Austin Energy representative listed on the work plan to receive a replacement tree.
  • If you are a customer who does not have a work plan, email the Austin Energy Forestry Division or call 512-322-6771 for more information.

Depending on their availability, we offer the replacement trees shown below. You can view and print this replacement tree list and more planting information in the Tree Replacement List brochure (pdf).

We offer 5- to 15-gallon replacement trees, but 5-gallon trees survive best because their root systems establish more readily.

To learn about selecting and planting the right tree in the right spot, see the Native Tree Growing Guide (pdf).
