The City of Austin’s Customer Assistance Program Financial Support Plus 1 fund assists Austin residents unable to pay their utility bills due to unexpected emergencies such as job loss or medical situations.

Voluntary contributions help fund The City of Austin Financial Support Plus 1 Fund and other community charitable programs. Every dollar helps and your contribution is tax deductible.

How You Can Help

There are many ways customers and non-customers can give.

On Your Paper Bill

Add a one-time donation or a monthly recurring donation to the CAP Contribution line item on your utility bill payment. Mark the amount of your contribution on your bill stub and send your payment plus the additional amount.
