NOTICE: Austin Drive Electric Day event CANCELED due to weather

WHO:             
Austin Energy, Plug In America, Sierra Club, TxETRA and the Electric Auto Association

WHAT:          
Check out what’s new in electric cars, motorcycles, scooters and bikes at Austin National Drive Electric Day. This free event celebrates National Drive Electric Week and is open to the public. There will be live music, food trucks and kids’ activities. You may even catch a glimpse of Austin Energy’s own StEVie, the EV-loving T-Rex. Attendees are encouraged to find parking nearby as Electric Drive will be closed to showcase various electric vehicles.

Electric Drive, the portion of West Second Street between Walter Seaholm Drive and Sandra Muraida Way in the Seaholm EcoDistrict

 

ABOUT NATIONAL DRIVE ELECTRIC WEEK:   

National Drive Electric Week, Sept. 8-16, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. More than 12,000 people attended NDEW events all over the country last year.
