Temporary interruptions expected during scheduled website maintenance

Some City of Austin Utilities and Austin Energy services will undergo scheduled upgrades to improve the network’s infrastructure, security and performance beginning 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10 through 5 p.m. Sunday, June 11.

During this time, customers will be unable to make real-time payments or access other self-service options on COAUtilities.com or through the utility’s IVR/automated phone system. Payments through Western Union at authorized pay stations, such as area grocery stores, will also be down during this time. Additionally, updated information on the Austin Energy outage map (outagemap.austinenergy.com) and outage text alerts will not be available during the maintenance. Disconnections for non-payment will not be performed during the maintenance window.

Ways to pay your utility bill during this maintenance:

  • Make/schedule payment on COAUtilities.com before June 10 at 3 p.m. or after June 11 at 5 p.m.
  • Customers who have previously made a payment through Paymentus (quick payment online or by phone for a fee) will be able to make a payment during the outage.
  • Pay at a utility drop box:

            - 505 Barton Springs Rd.

            - 1901 W. William Cannon Dr. Ste. 100

  • Pay by mail: City of Austin Utilities - Payment Processing, P.O. Box 2267, Austin, TX 78783-2267
  • Make a payment through your bank’s online banking options
