Community Engagement Opportunities
Repowering Downtown Austin Project
Stakeholder input is an essential part of the design and construction of a substation plan that is supported by the public. Austin Energy is committed to active and engaging communication with residents, individuals, community leaders, businesses, and organizations to ensure preferences and opinions are heard and considered for inclusion in the project.
Repowering Downtown — Rainey Street Substation
The Austin City Council approved the award and execution of the construction contract for the Rainey Street Substation. We are excited to achieve this milestone and could not have done it without collaboration and input from the community.
