VendingMiser can operate stand alone or it can be a perfect
companion to the CoolerMiser.
How does VendingMiser work?
VendingMiser uses a passive infrared sensor to determine when the surrounding area is vacant, the device powers down the machine to conserve energy when no one is in the area. Additionally, the device:

Monitors room temperature and periodically re-powers the machine to maintain the desired product temperature. |

Detects if the compressor is operating, and will not power down until it is done running. This eliminates compressor short cycling. |

Immediately powers up the machine if a customer approaches—if in power down mode. |

Helps the machine create less heat when lights and motors are powered down, so drinks in the machine stay cold and can even get colder by 1 degree. |
Has VendingMiser been field tested?
Tens of thousands of VendingMisers are operational in the field. The average energy savings have been independently documented to be between 35-45 %. VendingMiser has been tested and approved for use by the major bottling companies.
Is VendingMiser safe for all machines?
VendingMiser is compatible with all types of cold drink vending machines. In fact, by reducing run time of the machines, VendingMiser also reduces maintenance.
Is VendingMiser inappropriate for certain locations?
Only one. Because savings are generated as a result of vacancy in the area, a machine in a location that is occupied 24-hours, 7 days a week will generate little savings.
Fast, free installation
This simple plug-and-play product is attached without tools to the machine, or can be attached to the wall with simple hand tools. Since it attaches to the exterior cables with Velcro, local vending companies accept it. Austin Energy contractors install CoolerMiser free of charge.
